Hello to whoever is out there & reading this!

Well, it seems I have just named my whole blog 'Welcome to Crazy Land,' instead of just the first posts, *oops* however, it does seem rather appropriate...

Here I hope to share a little of what I come across each day/week/month (as I'm sure might be the case given my tendancy to lose track of the days!) as I stumble (ever so confidently) through my life as a mother of two ie: educator, pshychologist, doctor, cleaner (ok so you can barely see the floor at home), cook (frozen dinners), a wife, a friend, a rapidly growing business owner/manager and a mother to an autistic child - just to add a little more crazy to the mix! And guess what? I love my life & my family & the business, all of which certainly keep me one my toes.

I have been likened, more than once, to a hurricane. Leaving a mess wherever I go but also achieving a great deal rather quickly. I can safely say that this is the case with my business, Little Wooden Toybox, but I can also say that this would not be the case if I did not have a strong support system in place ranging from loving family, fantastic staff (who know my calendar better than I do), long suffering friends (who know to look at the website first to see if I am free), church family, two little people and our latest additions; two little smelly dogs.

And just like that I have to go deal with another meltdown. My son (ASD - Autism Spectrum Disorder) just got poked in the eye with a pram (?) by my lovely Little Miss Independant... who has just weed on the floor then slipped on a piece of paper (see I told you the floor wasn't clean) all in the space of this small sentence. Ok long sentence. A day in the life!

I might get back to this tomorrow/next week/month/year :P
