Hello All,
Today I attended a really informative and useful Facebook conference that kindly told that I am doing it all wrong....in all the right places, ok some of the right places... soooo...
My first goal is to find out what my likers & followers actually like and what they want to hear from me. So I am now asking you, 'What do you want from me?' What would you like to see on my Facebook page (Little Wooden Toybox)? What would you like me to talk about?
Many of the business owners in the conference interact with their likers with posts regarding dinner or kid's lunches etc., including lovely Trace from Say It With Print who does a great job at this type of networking and connecting. Me on the other hand, couldn't care less what you were having for dinner and I can guarantee you wouldn't think much of me with what gets served up at my house some nights! At Trace's house, you can choose Roast or Wine & Cheese... at my house the choice would be Frozen Dinner or Maccas.
I have a wonderful habit of doing dumb stuff regularly. I can talk about this and I will probably make most of you feel like wonderful mothers (and fathers but I'm pretty sure I don't have a male audience, according to what fb stats told me today) compared to some of the thing's on my 'Mother Of The Year List' (I will save this for another post). I am capable of running a business and keeping my children alive but sometimes I am sure my friends and staff wonder how I manage to even remember to get dressed in the morning. I blame most of my scatterbrained-ness on my children. They stole my brain cells from early pregnancy.
I also have a wonderful gift of prattling on till I am completely off topic, then stop half way through a sentence and say "What was the point of that?!" Like now... I have gone off on a tangent again...
What do you want me to write about that interests you?
Do I have followers out there with children with special needs that would like to connect with someone going through similar experiences?
I know some of you are work at home mums too, juggling work & children & 'house-wife' roles (a role I do not possess a great talent for) and going through the daily struggles that I face too.
Are you interested in the educational value of the toys I choose for LWT and why I choose them? I could prattle on about this topic for ages, and my next post will be on this, like it or not (hehe) as I am very passionate about what we are exposing our children to in this 'technological world' that our littlies are now growing up in.
Are you after more sales, more information on our ranges, products and brands? More offers?
Do you want posts that you can respond to... I'm guessing this would be a bright idea and the whole point of the above?!?!? :P
Ok I could go on forever so I will leave it here but I really would love and appreciate your feedback.
Tell me what you want to see more of here in these posts, at LWT (shop/markets) and on my fb page! ox
